Ampoule Liquid Line
An Ampoule Liquid Line is a specialized automated system designed for filling and sealing ampoules, which are small sealed vials used to contain liquid medications, chemicals, or cosmetic formulations. These lines play a crucial role in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical industries, ensuring sterile and contamination-free packaging.
The process starts with ampoule washing, where ampoules are cleaned using purified water and compressed air to remove contaminants. Next, they undergo sterilization and drying in a hot air tunnel to maintain aseptic conditions.
Once sterilized, the ampoules move to the filling station, where precise dosing mechanisms such as volumetric, peristaltic, or vacuum filling ensure accurate liquid filling. Following this, the ampoules are sealed using an open-flame melting process to create an airtight closure.
After sealing, the ampoules go through leak testing and visual inspection to detect any defects. Advanced ampoule liquid lines also integrate labeling and packaging systems for final product preparation.
These lines comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards to ensure safety, accuracy, and high production efficiency.
